Brighouse based activity provider ROKT Climbing Gym is confirmed as lead interactivity partner at Outdoor Pursuits Yorkshire.
ROKT Climbing Gym opened its doors to the public in April 2011 and since then has continued to capture the awe and imagination of its visitors, accruing 5,000 new members in the first five months of business. The wall was officially opened by climber, Leo Holding, the first of many famous faces to cross the ROKT threshold.
ROKT have confirmed that they will be arranging the following interactivies:
● Overseeing the abseiling down the side of the iconic Leeds Civic Hall using trained and qualified instructors
● Two Roktagon climbing features – the unique climbing system from ROKT
● An amazing single decker bus that replicates a caving experience inside
● Slack lining (the latest American craze to hit the UK in recent years)
● A low ropes course

This three day extravaganza will showcase all that is best about outdoor pursuits and the great outdoors. Over the three days, Millennium Square will be transformed into a giant interactivity and play area for adults to enjoy as well as children! From climbing walls to regular daily appearances by the spectacular Savage Skills mountain bike display team, to the focal point at the heart of the show that is Bushcraft, where adult and children can brush up on or learn new survival skills from a qualified team in safety. And we can reveal that people will be able to abseil down the side of the Civic Hall too. Now there’s a show stopper!
